House Rules
There are up to five persons staying in the TRD house. In order
to make sure that everyone can enjoy their stay, we collected some
guidelines on how things are arranged in the house. We kindly remind
you that the TRD house is not a hotel but a shared house.
At times, we do have a cleaning person, they takes care of general
cleaning but unfortunately not at all times.
As a rule of thumb, we kindly ask you take care of one of the
following items at least once each time you stay in the TRD
house. We follow the pathfinders rules which is one good deed
per week.
- Take out the garbage from the kitchen to the black garbage
bin in the garage.
- Monday evening: In case it is full, please move the black
garbage bin from the garage to the collection point at the
beginning of the street; and pick it up the day after. Please
only move it in case it’s completely full, since we do pay per
piece.
- Start the dishwasher in the kitchen. You can find cleaning tabs
below the sink, please remove the plastic cover.
- Unload the dishwasher and store the silver ware, cups and
plates in the corresponding cupboards.
- Drop all glass and plastic bottles from the kitchen at the
reccle bin at the Chinese restaurant (car needed)
- Wash the linen and towels in the basement. We have two washing
machines. Put the three-component liquid soap bubble into the drum,
set the temperature to 60 degrees Celsius and start washing. Please
do not forget to take it out and hang it in the basement when done.
Open one window completely, even during winter times.
- Buy items like garbage bags (50l), soap, dishwasher pads, pads
for the laundry machine, paper towels, etc. You will be reimbursed
by the TRD house, please provide all receipts.
