.TH "fxsproxy_testclient" 1 "September 18, 2008" .SH NAME fxsproxy_testclient \- A DIM client to trigger the ALICE TRD fxsproxy .SH SYNOPSIS .B fxsproxy_testclient run_number [float] .SH DESCRIPTION DIM client for testing and debugging purposes. It triggeres the fxsproxy (see corresponding man page) with the runnumber as argument. If "SOR" or "EOR" is given as second argument this flag is also passed to the fxsproxy. .PP If you want to read out the TRD configuration data for testing or debugging, please use the run number 1. .PP There is an older way of sending a command to fxsproxy using a float to contain the runnumber and the SOR or EOR flag. Sending the command using a float can cause problems with run numbers greater than 800,000 so it is advised that you use the default way and not to use the float argument. This argument is left for testing backwards compatability. .SH AUTHOR Written by Frederick Kramer .SH REPORTING BUGS Report bugs to Frederick.Kramer@cern.ch .SH "SEE ALSO" fxsproxy(1)
